Coordinate Your Accessories
One easy way to look more stylish is by coordinating your accessories. A great way to do this is by using the same color family, but different shades. This will help you create a well-coordinated look without looking too matchy-matchy.
When you’re looking to mix and match your belts with different shoes, keep in mind that casual outfits require a little more creativity. If it's going to be accompanied by an outfit for the workplace or something of similar formalness then make sure they are at least close colors (i.e., black belt with some dark brown shoes). However, if you're wearing sneakers, have fun experimenting! You just want them to tie together well; nothing too outrageous (no green socks)!
The point here is to coordinate, not necessarily match, so think about using the same shades and the same types of fabrics to make a complete, refined look.

Buy Evergreen, Not Trends
Another key to being more stylish is buying evergreen pieces. These are items that will never go out of style and can be worn for years to come. They're typically classic pieces, like a trench coat or navy blazer, but they also include trendy items like ripped jeans or leather jackets (that won't look too dated).
This is important, especially when purchasing something that comes with a high price tag, you don't want to have to buy a new piece of clothing a few months after you've just bought one!
Many of the brands which we work directly with - offer these timeless pieces. For example, A Kiton Navy Suit can be worn for every formal occasion you ever attend, thus making it one of the most efficient purchases you've ever bought. On the other hand, let's say you buy a bright pink navy suit from Kiton, and the next year it goes out of fashion, now you're stuck!
Get Your Clothes Tailored or Understand "How to Drop"
One of the best ways to look more stylish is by having your clothes tailored to fit you perfectly. This ensures that everything looks great and hangs well on your body. If you're not able to get them tailored, make sure you understand how to "drop" a piece of clothing - this means understanding what a drop means, and what drop you are for each specific brand.
Unfortunately, this is one of the most complicated parts of Sartorial clothing, because it's often difficult to find out exactly which drop you are without first buying a suit, this means that you may have to return a few suits until you find the one that suits you best. You could also go to a local store in your town/city and ask to try on some suits until you find your drop, preferably in the brand that you actually want to eventually buy. This will allow you to get an exact drop before you purchase from us.
Another problem with the drop is that each company has a different measurement system, for example, a size 50 suit R8 from Kiton, may have slightly different measurements to the same size in Cesare Attolini. That is why we offer a measurement service, and we always ask first if you already have a Sartorial suit.
Take your time - Don’t panic purchase
One of the most common mistakes we see here at IsuiT is that people panic purchase an item. This might be because they think it will go out of stock, or just because they think a suit is perfect for them - when it's not. Make sure you don't rush into a purchase of a luxury piece - because you may buy something that you don't actually like.
In order to do this - you should take your time. Although a lot of our clothes do sell very quickly - if you're a generic size, you should be fine. If you have a very specific size and you see something in your exact size that you like, then I would probably recommend picking it up as soon as possible - as once our clothes are sold, they're gone forever.
Also, make sure that the piece of clothing suits all of your needs - don't buy a bright pink Kiton Blazer, expecting to get a versatile use out of it. Again, we recommend taking your time, and ensuring that what you're buying is absolutely perfect for you. The main reason for this is that these brands are "old money brands". The minimum price for a Cesare Attolini or Kiton suit is $900 - with some reaching the high-end of four digits, and some even pushing five.
Strip your wardrobe down to basic shades - Keep it simple
A great way to start simplifying your wardrobe is by cutting out all colors until you understand how to wear them. Stick to black, grey, and maybe dark blue – that’s it! This is important because if you’re just wearing random colors, you could be sticking out like a sore thumb. But instead, if you focus only on a few shades, you can’t go wrong. This is FANTASTIC for helping less fashionable men overcome their fashion nightmares.
Once you do understand colors - make sure you only wear them at the right time. For example, you cannot wear a bright pink suit to the opera or a funeral - just as you shouldn't wear an all-black suit to a non-black tie event, such as a wedding. This is why we recommend stripping your wardrobe down to basic colors until you are absolutely confident in your ability to choose the right color for the right situation.
Don’t only match colors, match styles also
You don't have to match colors - but if you're going for a matching style, make sure you're not just matching the color of your sartorial pieces, but also the style. For example, if you're wearing a black crocodile leather belt, maybe think about wearing a pair of black crocodile dress shoes or sneakers.
Similarly - Make sure your tops have the same fit as your bottoms. You don’t want to have a tight Italian shirt with loose jeans or shorts – if your shirt is slim, make sure your jeans are as well. If your jeans flare out at the bottom of your shirt (below the end of your shirt), there’s a good chance you’ve got it wrong.
We hope this gives you a better understanding of how to style outfits properly and if there are any specific questions that you have - please don't hesitate to ask.

Don't change the classic menswear look, Unless you know what you're doing
One of the worst things you can do to a classic menswear look is change it too much. If you're not confident in your ability to style an outfit, then don't try - stick with what you know and build off of that.
For example, if you're wearing a three-piece suit, make sure all the pieces are the same color, and make sure that they all fit well together. If you're not confident in your ability to put a suit together, then maybe try something with less pieces - such as a blazer and trousers.
On the other hand, if you ARE confident in your ability to style an outfit - go ahead and change it up a bit! Add a pocket square, try a different tie, or maybe even switch out your shirt. Just make sure that you're not changing too many things at once - it's easy to go overboard and look like a mess.
Classic menswear style is timeless for a reason: it looks good on everyone. If you're looking to add a touch of sophistication to your wardrobe, then classic menswear is the way to go.
Unfortunately, a common faux pas is to wear two things that absolutely should not be worn together. This is normally caused by people who are trying to innovate, but fail to grasp the true idiosyncratic nature of classic menswear.
Fit the season - and make sure your suit fabric does too!
Just like you wouldn't wear a heavy coat in the summer, you also shouldn't be wearing light suits during the winter. Make sure your suit fabrics are appropriate for the season - wool for winter, linen for summer, and so on.
Additionally, make sure that your suit is tailored to fit the season. A heavier wool suit will be too hot during the summer, and a light linen suit will be too cold during the winter.
Also, you should try and choose the correct fabric to wear for the correct season. For example, if you're going to a summer wedding, it might not be the best idea to wear a wool suit.
You should also be aware of the variety of different shades and colors that work in each season. A dark navy suit might be too heavy for a summer wedding, but it would be perfect for a winter one.
