The measurements shown refer to body dimensions, not to the measurements of the finished garment. Handcrafted production tolerances may vary by up to ±1 cm.

This table is not based on standardised industrial grading: it is the result of an advanced anthropometric study based on the real shapes of the human body and on the canons of classic Italian tailoring, and should be read as a calibrated map of the human body. Please refer to your real body measurements (taken against the skin) to find the size that perfectly respects your proportions. For a perfect fit, the balance between chest and waist is essential: since fits vary between brands, please contact our customer care for a personalised check of your measurements before you buy.

Please note: sizes in inches refer only to the anatomical neck circumference. Since the fit of classic shirts follows the lines of Italian tailoring, we recommend checking your chest measurement before you buy. If your chest is close to the upper limit of the range, we suggest ordering one size up.

Measure the sleeve length from the tip of the shoulder (humerus) along the outside of the slightly bent arm to the wrist bone.

The brands in our selection represent the excellence of Italian tailoring. Since every maker follows its own pattern-making criteria, conversions into centimetres and fits can vary significantly from one brand to another. The table shows the standard commercial correspondence. To find your size, keep the following in mind:

Kiton: if you prefer a very lean, modern fit, consider one size down.

Cesare Attolini: choose your usual classic trouser size. The fit is regular and follows the natural lines of the body.

Incotex: the waist and thigh are more compact than tailored cuts; if you are between two sizes or prefer a more relaxed fit at the waist, we recommend ordering one size up.

Isaia: regular correspondence with standard international sizes. Choose the size you usually wear.

Our customer care is entirely at your disposal: if in doubt, don’t hesitate to contact us before you buy.
