The Best Italian Navy Blue Suits for Men in 2022 | From Kiton to Cesare Attolini

Whether you're attending a wedding, looking for a new office mens suit to wear everyday, or generally just want to pick up one of the most versatile-colored suits in existence, IsuiT - Italian Luxury has got you covered.

the best navy blue suits in the world

Navy Blue is considered by most people to be the perfect suit color for a number of reasons, firstly it's not as harsh as a black suit, which cannot be worn to every occasion as sometimes it is a fashion faux pas. Many people consider gray and brown to be boring colors, thus Navy Blue often wins out as the best color to buy for either your first suit, or generally as your next suit.

In this article we'll talk about a number of different brands, and a number of different styles of suits. The brands you can expect to see in this article are:

All of these Italian brands follow the classic Neapolitan traditions of artisan Sartorial (tailoring) methods. Zilli is the only brand here that is not 100% Made in Italy, and Zilli very closely follows the style of Neapolitan tailoring, hence their suits are very similar (except they often don't have quite as strong of a Neapolitan Suit Shoulder)

When choosing a Navy Blue suit, you must first ask yourself a couple of questions:

  • What season should I shop for?
  • Do I want something with a pattern or a solid navy hue?

Choosing a suit fabric can be a difficult task, but we generally recommend that if you're only buying one suit you should buy something that is suitable for all 4 seasons, for example wool 150s, or Mohair. Mohair especially is a great example of a material that works well in all four seasons, and is hot when it's cold and cold when it's hot. This effect is achieved by using animal materials from a Mohair Sheep, which has a durable lifestyle and therefore creates a fabric that is suitable for many different weather types.

If you're buying more than one suit, or already have a suit that is suitable for either summer or winter, then you're probably going to want to buy the opposite of what you already have. If you're now looking for a summer fabric, then go for something that is incredibly thin. We normally recommend a combination of fabrics, usually cotton, silk, and linen. These combination fabrics work perfectly for a summer style suit. If you're looking for a winter suit, on the other hand, then you're going to want to find something that is made from wool or Cashmere. These are both great winter fabrics, and will keep you exceedingly warm even during outside events in the winter.

The second thing you have to decide is whether or not you want a pattern. We personally think that if you're buying a navy suit, then you are going to want to go for a solid color. This is because they are much more versatile and frankly much harder to commit a fashion faux pas with.

The final thing is to understand what you want to wear with it - The best thing to wear underneath is a White Work Shirt.

Without further ado, let's talk about the best navy suits in the world right now:
